Your Labour Team: Jim Beall and Barbara Inman

There has never been a more important local election as our Council faces huge cuts in its budgets and our area needs strong people to stick up for our community.

And with Jim Beall and Barbara Inman, who have served the area for more than 20 years between them, we have a Labour team that will continue to fight your corner as everything from police numbers to leisure services suffer under the Tory led Government.

They'll work to ensure that critical local services like street cleaning, refuse collection, job creation, bus services and environmental improvements are maintained.

Our town has seen some changes in recent years as Labour councillors have battled hard to maintain services and breathe new life into the area.

Sadly our town centre has suffered following the world banking crises which caused the recession. But there are positive things happening too with the planned Globe redevelopment and the new High Street Enterprise Shopping Arcade bringing jobs to the area.

Much more still needs to be done and Jim and Barbara will be your voice through these tough times and make things happen. And they'll keep in touch through your regular "The Rose" and surgeries.

A strong, experienced team to work for Roseworth

Jim Beall

Jim and his family have lived in the ward for nearly 25 years. Jim is in touch with the issues affecting residents on a daily basis. After more than 30 years working in social care, he has continued to devote his time to the local community. He has worked with residents to establish the Community Partnership and Residents Group. If re-elected, he is committed to protecting frontline services from Tory led cuts.

Barbara Inman

Barbara Inman lived in the ward for more than 40 years, was educated at local schools, worked as a teacher for 24 years and has represented Roseworth since 1995. Barbara's main interests are in education, housing and the environment.

She cares about people, providing support by telephone and in person. She works hard to keep residents informed whilst ensuring the Council continues to improve its winning services.
